Welcome | Bienvenue

Bethmaru.com's creator is currently working on obtaining her Master's in Library and Information Science degree from the Faculty of Information and Media Studies at the the University of Western Ontario. In June of 2007, she graduated with an Honours in History and Major in English from Bishop's University, Sherbrooke, Québec. She plans to pursue a career that allows her to participate in a dynamic setting dealing with the intersection of Information Science and Technology. Preferably this dynamic setting would be an Academic Library. She also aspires to be a life long learner inspired by her mother. Her future studies may touch upon the subjects of Information Ownership and the Canadian Legal system, Public History, and Educational Philosophy. She aspires to incorporate the theories of Information Visualization in everything she touches. It is just that powerful.
In her spare time Bethmaru enjoys reading (both online and offline), cooking and cultivating herbs. She recently learned how to make pasta from scratch using a pasta maker and local flour. Thanks Mr. Oliver. This summer she hopes to spend as much time as possible while in school with her family, boyfriend and both old and new friends.
In the list of links included to the left is her résumé, blog, del.icio.us account, and other links she frequently visits. The pink pattern image along the sides of this text was borrowed from online design site Squidfingers. It's url is included in this page's source code.
Thanks for visiting!
